Angel heard me drive into the driveway. She came running from the next door neighbor's yard. Just so she could go in the house when I did. Sweet.

My cocker spaniel used to welcome me home. Sweet for sure. I miss her so much.

At my old house you could tell the cats knew how my vehicle sounded. They would show up.

@GardenGerty I fully agree with you. The cat of my neighbor runs to greet me every time I go out, he is like a small dog.

This is really sweet! I miss my cats welcoming me at the gates. Since we're renovating, they're scared of strangers so they're not coming out.

That is a wonderful thing. The kittens here get a visit from their Mama but then run to catch up with me as I walk into the other room, They have gotten really close to me and not even Mama seems as exciting to them but they do interact with her for short spurts,
