Did They Really Exist?

Read an interesting article that I'd like to share. It is about the question of whether any of the mythical people from the past actually existed. Wouldn't it be something to find that one or more of your personal heroes from history may have not even have existed? I think this is a very interesting debate to be having.

May be some of them did not exist, William Tell existed, but he never shot an apple off his son's head. Pope Joan possibly existed, she was lapidated after she gave prematurely birth to a baby, falling from a horse.

Well I am sure that many of them were not real people often they are a combination of people. I have certainly enjoyed going to Glastonbury England and seeing Arthur's grave, walking in Sherwood Forest to dream of Robin Hood and walked the streets of Stratford on Avon.
