A yummy and simple salad.

As many of you know I love hearts of palm. They can be used in any salad in which one might have been tempted to use artichoke hearts. But their color and texture make them unique.
I recently had an afternoon snack consisting only of hearts of palm and a simple dressing. I cut the hearts of palm into small discs, and added only olive oil, a touch of wine, salt, pepper, and garlic. It was delicious.

"Hearts of Palm" - well, that is something new for me. Yet if that makes for a good yet simple salad, then of course you did a great job!!

Absolutely. Sliced tomatoes. Add some seasoning and eat.

@TheHorse — you know what Guy Clark says….only two things that money can’t buy, and that’s true love and homegrown tomatoes!
