Blake's Caramel Apple Hard Cider / myLot

I was at Schnuck's today getting a few groceries. It's our local grocery store. I don't shop there often since their prices are just higher than most other places like Ruler and Aldi. But they did have pork steaks on sale, and everyone knows I love my pork steaks. So, I went to pick some up. In the beer aisle as I was getting my beer I saw a display of Blake's Hard Cider Company Caramel Apple Cider. A 6-pack for $10. I thought my wife might like this so I got some for her. She is about to try it and I hope she likes it. She was thinking it might be good to add some Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey to it. She did that with Bush Light Apple and it tasted JUST LIKE apple pie. Either way, I hope it was worth the $10.

Is $10 for a 6-pack a good price? And what did you do with the pork steaks?

Not sure, especially after the cider turned out to be mediocre at best. As for pork steaks, I do a million different things with them. Braise them, broil them, bake them, grill them, smoke them, make them into soups, casseroles, and tacos. I make stir fry's out of them, pot pies... There really is nothing you CAN'T do with a pork steak.

@lovebuglena Yep. I buy more than I need and freeze it. Can't remember what I did with the first batch, but probably braised them.

It was better than nothing and at least we were able to use it up. I think I used a can for cooking as well. But I can't remember what I made. Probably braised pork. lol
