I hope they work

The dermatologist prescribed a topical treatment and a shampoo for a skin condition. They cost nearly $50, so I hope they work. She basically says that stress brings on the sebhorreic dermatitis so I am not sure how this high cost treatment will reduce the stress. I will use them both at least until December, when I will have another cyst removed.

I’m sure it wouldn’t help in reducing the stress but it’ll cure the sebhorreic dermatitis but the moment you stop using it, your issue will still return. I hope you find a way to manage the stress. I know eating some certain food can help.

I know she said it would not be cured, but she said to only use the treatments if I am broken out.

I had rather find a more natural regimen, and I may at some point.

It can be hard to find someone who has the knowledge to give you advice on those natural remedies ..... sadly most MD's are only in it for the money and those pharmacies have them by the nose hairs.

I also bought a cream to tread sebhorreic dermatitis, it is a problem my husband has and he is stressed all the time. Did the cream work? Well, not really, but it's a bit better.

In the short term, they will work. I hope to find something that is less expensive for maintenance.

They seem to work in the moment. I can use them only when there is active breaking out.

It seems to help and when my skin is clear I do not need to use it.

I think it will. The shampoo was one she said to just add to my "rotation" as I was already doing what she would advise and changing shampoos often.
