We do not have this beautiful occurrence where we live. In fact India is not a place for that But when I was holidaying in the US I did get a glimpse of it. How long will it be for the trees show their colours this year? Will odd behaviour of nature change it this year? Do you experience it where you live?

Is it because of change this year that you will not see them in Florida or has it been always that way? Photos do revive memories. You can post one here may be?

@allknowing all around me are palm trees they do not change and I do not know where there are any trees that do change color, Here is a photo from autumn where I used to live in Riga, Latvia.

I live in Missouri and fall color tourist season reaches its height in mid-October, usually. Things have been cooler than normal here this year, so I'm not sure if that will still be the same or not.

You are right You will have to just wait and watch - what the climate unfolds.

@allknowing It should be interesting, whatever happens... and whenever it happens. (I can remember one year where snow started falling in September. We didn't have fall colors or a tourist season that year.)

@DaddyEvil Here too odd things happen. The most affected are the trees They flower at the wrong time and when it rains the flowers drop and no fruits are seen. Sad situation

That is man made. I wonder why there is no appetite for trees where you live.

@allknowing land cost is too high here and people dont leave an inch of the land for plants and trees here. Also, the population of the city is too much to accommodate.

We don’t have fall season so we don’t get to see the beautiful color changing leaves of the trees.

I am wondering if it will be different this year due to nature's odd ways. wherever it is.

@rebelann In Las Vegas I was told they imported Date palm trees from the Middle East. I have seen them lined up on roads. Thank you for the explanation.

No, not all of the US has trees like the east coast has. Southern Arizona and New Mexico are mostly desert, Nevada is mostly desert espeically around Las Vegas but some parts of it has a lot of Pine Trees but they do not change color. Some parts of Utah and also Wyoming is desert. That's only the areas I'm familiar with, I'm sure there are other parts of the US like that too.

I am in a place where fall does not exist. It is green almost throughout the year. Except one or two trees which may have been brought from some other climate zone, other trees are evergreen.
