Friday is bath day for my fur babies. I bathe the two adults, Danie and Yuki, and now they’re smelling so good.
I love burying my nose in their furry body when they smell this good. Good thing I’m not allergic to them at all. But then again they’re known to be hypoallergenic.
There is no such thing as hypoallergenic dogs though. But bichon frises are just known to bring less allergens coz they don’t shed as much as short haired dogs.

So cute and fluffy!
I only have experience washing big big dogs and chihuahuas, the big dogs were not so bad, just a lot of work. However the chihuahuas...they don't like water haha

@DesirousDreamer i do read about the different types of dogs so i would know which ones would suit me best. And chihuahuas are not the friendliest. In fact they’re not safe to be with kids. They could snap at them when they get annoyed. That’s why i decided not to get one.

They are cutie. I would smell the dogs if they are clean and have a good smell.

My fur babies don’t smell like dogs at all even on days where they don’t take a bath. Bichon frises normally don’t have dog smells.

There was some time when i didn’t have a dog but i couldn’t stand not having one for too long. Now i can’t imagine not having Danie by my side.

Our pets did not have much fur but one had a bushy tail. A truly bushy tail in that when she wagged it would fan us (lol)

There are a list of dogs that are considered hypoallergenic. One of the considerations why i chose bichon frises. Poodles are included in the list by the way. And shih tzus too.

I've never been able to have dogs because of my allergies. My girlfriend has a dog, and it's hard if I'm around it too much because I start sneezing and getting itchy, watery eyes. If I take some allergy medicine beforehand, it's somewhat tolerable, but I still get itchy, watery eyes.
