Happy Almost Weekend

Happy Friday Everyone! what a beautiful day today....blue skies and sunshine.
Yesterday wasn't nice at all....rain and a thunderstorm in the afternoon. The weekend is almost here and it looks like the nice weather will stay for awhile.
My daughter is going away for the weekend with some friends. She needs a little vacation as she's been working hard since she got the new job and working full time again.
Even though the pups and I will be home alone I know if I need anything my oldest daughter just lives 5 minutes away.
Tomorrow night my grandson has a Marching Band competition but I doubt I'll go. As much as I would like to see it in person I find it hard walking long distances and climbing up bleachers and sitting there for hours. I'm really hoping they have it live on Facebook like they did the last time. It was extra nice seeing it from the comfort of my couch.
I didn't get to make my muffins yesterday as we had a bad thunderstorm right around the time I was going to start. The lights flickered a few times and I didn't want to have a batch of muffins going if the power went out. Since I didn't do them the power stayed on 
Murphys Law would have been the minute I put them in the oven the power would have gone out.
So maybe today I'll attempt to do them again.
Nothing much is going on. Today is just a normal routine day.

His antics make me laugh so hard sometimes and then the trainer told me I shouldn't laugh because it would encourage him ..... geeeze howz I supposed to not laugh???

I'm back to work for the weekend but I do have next week off on vacation and took off next Saturday too. I'll spend part of that day with my daughter and grandbaby while they're camping.

@Marilynda1225 I am. I bought some clothes for him but was afraid I might leave them at home so I took them over yesterday and visited for a short bit. I'll still go next sat for a longer visit.

They're plank like seats and the most uncomfortable thing invented. Even with a cushion it's still uncomfortable.
So far its supposed to be online so unless there's a glitch I'll still be able to watch

i suspect the pups will enjoy time with you!!!!
climbing bleachers is something that doesn't resonate with me either. but for me it is more a fear of slipping on the metal.

Falling and slipping is a concern of mine too. High School stadiums are a challenge when you aren't young and agile.
The pups will be happy as long as there's treats involved

@Marilynda1225 I am really tired tonight, so I may not work very long tomorrow, but we are SO busy and since I work from home I always feel like it would be better for me to work then somebody who doesn't work from home. I hate this virus and I will do my part to help my fellow Canadians stay safe.

I hope you can watch you grandson perform online. Hubs was out for breakfast with his friend all morning. I cleaned while the cleaning lady cleaned and did laundry.
Date night tonight and going out to dinner with friends tomorrow night - outdoor dining of course. 2 martini weekend!

Mask wearing is still mandatory as well as distancing. The competition is outside in a big stadium
