So I decided to go and close the vertical blinds that cover the sliding balcony door.
As I started to pull on the thing that closes them the horizontal thing on top of the blinds that covers the actual metal thing on which everything hangs began to fall.
I was taken by surprise when it happened.
And it happened so fast that I am not even sure exactly what went down as it was falling.
One thing I know is that now my head seems to hurt.
It didn't before.
I think it may have hit my head as it was falling down.
I don't feel any pain anywhere else.
Perhaps I jumped back once I realized what was happening.

I am so sorry that happened..I hate blinds I hope your head is fine.
I just recently took these panel vertical things down from the back patio and it was a pain.
They are not my choice but the slumlords.
I will put them back up if I ever move.

@lovebuglena Oh those would be nice but yes expensive.
That reminds me I used to work for Hunger Douglas here in CO and they make those fabric covered blinds.

These blinds are from the 90s. That thing that fell was not in top shape. It was about to give out eventually. I just wish it didn't give out with me standing there. And lucky that it was that that fell and not the metal thing everything is hanging on.

I want to replace these blinds with vertical blinds that are material. They are probably very expensive though.

No more headache. The part that fell off is on the floor. I do not want to try and put it back. Don't want it possibly falling down again.

Check for bumps on the head and take some aspirin and I hope the pain goes away, Glad nothing worse happened.

No bumps. Good thing the headache was not severe and that I didn't get seriously hurt.
