Going away for four days

Hubby's friend is turning 50 on Thursday and he and his wife are going away to a house in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania for 4 days. Hubby got invited to join them and he wants to go. There will probably be other people there as well, though I have no idea who.
We will be leaving tomorrow and staying there until Sunday. We do not have to pay for lodging and we do not have to bring any food with us either.
I am not sure what we are going to do there all that time but there are some places nearby that I'd like to visit. There's a farm, a zoo, and a nature sanctuary. I think it'd be a fun and interesting way to spend the day. Much better than sitting in the house or by the house and doing nothing.
I am trying to figure out what to pack clothes-wise but have no idea what to take. I always dread packing because of that. I usually end up taking more stuff than I need. I guess it is better to have extra stuff and not use it than to have less of it.

@RebeccasFarm I know his friend and wife. I am thinking maybe one of his other friends may be there as well. But that won't make me more comfortable being there.

@lovebuglena I know that I wanted to "travel light", but I always added more. The only time I did not, I had to buy locally.

On Friday, we ended up going to a nature sanctuary. Found (edible) mushrooms on our hike and had them for breakfast yesterday. They were good.
Went out for steak one of the days to celebrate hubby's friend's birthday. I wasn't a huge fan of the steak. Told hubby the steak he made at home was much better.
Didn't really go anywhere else. Stay in the vicinity of the community.

@lovebuglena We had planned to go to Golden Corral and Texas Roadhouse; but we ended up going to the fast food restaurants close to the motel. Hubs didn't want to get out on the busy streets again and try to find his way around.

At first it seemed we were there for a while but when we were leaving to go home it felt like we just got there and already had to go back home.

Enjoy the trip. I always pack one to two more outfits than I'll be gone, just in case I need to change for whatever reason.

I definitely overpacked. However, I ended up wearing things I didn't pack at first and some things I packed at first I never wore.

I hope so. I don't like sitting around and doing nothing. It is boring and can get to you and affect the mood.
