Grocery Shopping and A Supper Date

I went grocery shopping this afternoon and stocked my pantry and refrigerator. We went first to the thrift store and dropped off two large trash bags full of Leo’s shoes. I didn’t know he had so many. Some of them were practically new . I hope people who need them can get them for a good price. I would have liked to give them away but I didn’t know anyone who could wear them.
After grocery shopping my son invited me to eat supper at Piccadilly’s with him and my daughter in law.She met us there and we had a delicious meal. I had squash casserole with slaw and green beans.
Everyone going in and out were wearing masks, of course we removed them at the table. Everyone was seated far apart. So I think we were safe.

Sounds like a good place to eat safely. That was generous of you to share Leo's shoes.

Piccadilly’s sounds like a neat restaurant, we don't have one here.
Years ago I had a few pair of shoes I didn't know what to do with so I put them in a bag and left them in an area where I'd seen a homeless guy with a sign. The bag was gone the next day.

It can be hard to give clothes away. Donating is a good thing for them.
Glad you had a good dinner

You got a lot done, good! Locally, no outbreak from restaurant eating, so don't worry. Good of you to donate. I donate when I can too. Ready for Halloween? Most locally go to malls for Halloween or family's homes for Halloween. Got my Halloween decor out.

I see. My Halloween decor is only indoor. Our Mayors giving a cautious green light for Halloween. We're 69.9% , herd immunity. Herd immunity is 70%. When herd immunity reached, much to all restrictions lifted, so far. Go trick or treating in family pods, keep wearing masks under costume, try drive through venues like Pearlridge Center Trunk or Treat event in Oahu, Hawaii 2021, Halloween is going to be like. Lots of events locally:

It's nice to be able to get out some more.
Do you have a Freecycle group local to you? That's a great way of passing on anything that someone may find useful.

@RubyHawk It seems there is a group for 'Atlanta - Inside the Perimeter' (whatever that means!)

Hopefully people who need the shoes will get them st s low price. I would haven’t liked giving them but I didn’t know anyone who could wear them them. Yes, I enjoyed the outing at Piccadilly. We used to go there occasionally but it had been awhile.
