I just got a text that one of my kids is not going to school today, and will not be on the bus. The other student from that location will have a meeting with a mentor and will not ride in the afternoon. So, I will ride with the student in the wheel chair, and then either hubby will pick me up, or I will ride a route bus home. We are beginning to have cold temperatures at night, so it is time to bring my houseplants all in. That seems to be all the news from me.

It sounds like your temperatures are more true-to-season than they are here. At its most unseasonal, it is shorts weather; at its best attempt, it is long sleeve weather. I am used to more northerly climes, and this is unseasonably warm even for this area. So, it is really weird for me. I'm used to October being solid sweater weather.

Overnight 40's right now. I am bringing them in before we turn on heat, it is easier for them.

I finally fully cleared the garden. If I can I mow one more time, if not it's time to close for winter.

We already brought in all the houseplants that are going to be inside this winter. You did see it's supposed to be 39F tomorrow morning, right?

@DaddyEvil I do not mind it too much if I am prepared. I need to cover the four air conditioners, though.

Hope the day goes smooth for you. I have brought a few plants in. But it is still warm enough I can leave most out. Soon I will have to bring them in.

Soon a freeze will hit, but so far it usually stays in the 50s at night.

Yes, it's Thursday. I think the couple planters still outside will survive another week yet. Debating whether to dig up the shamrock I planted in a flower bed and bring it in for the winter. Had it indoors last winter and it kept going all floppy... perked right up when I planted it outside this summer.

Yes. Plants are good for your air, they help clean it.
