I read in the paper today that more people are now getting the covid vaccination. We stand at almost fifty percent vaccinated iin Georgia Hospital are emptying again. That doesn’t mean we don’t have to be careful. But with care maybe covid won’t make the come back lwe feared this winter.
A low dose of Moderna has now been recommended for the third injection. I have a doctors appointment next week So I’ll see if I can get mine while I’m there. I might have to go to Walmart’s or Wallgreen to get it. I also need a flu shot but I don’t know if both are recommended on the same day. Everyone take care.

I'm glad you're getting the booster shot. Missouri's vaccinated population has finally topped 48%.

@RubyHawk True enough. Our vaccinated numbers stopped at 38% until the state government started offering drawings for $10,000 to anyone who was vaccinated... then it climbed again but looks to be stalled now. *sigh*
Why do people have to be so contrary?

@DaddyEvil I don’t know. I saw somewhere that a few companies were paying their employees $100.00 to get the vaccination.

I will be getting my flu shot within the next week, as my employer offers them for free and has them administered on site at work. I will talk to my doctor about getting the Moderna booster shot, I'm sure I'm a good candidate for it since I've already had Covid twice.

@RubyHawk Yes, I got the Moderna shots. And I got really sick from both of the shots as well.

@moffittjc I hear that if you get sick after the vaccine it means your body is building up anti bodies to protect you from covid. I only felt a little tired for a few days so I don’t know how protected I am.
