I Am Too Cold

I had to boost the furnace number to 23 °Celsius =73.4 °Fahrenheit a few minutes ago. I am in the house, it is raining and dark outside and I am freezing in here. So I should start warming up very soon. I am afraid that the gas bill will be pretty high for the next 6 months.

It's been pretty chilly the last few days here as well. Days are getting cooler.

It has just started cooling off here. We were finally able to turn off the air conditioners, but have not had to turn on heat yet.

in my country there are only two seasons, and if it is rainy season and it makes me very cold, I just use a thick blanket without turning on the fan (because there is no air conditioning) and in my house there is no heating too

@marlina yes, hehe, maybe if i go to your place, i can get hypothermia, because the rain in my country is already so cold that it feels like it's piercing to the bone

I keep the furnace to 22.5º Celsius, when the sun is shining it feels warmer inside. The gas price surely is going to increase.

@ladyduck @Marlina Our gas prices have increased by 70% and are set to rise further. But when it’s cold it’s cold. Our house heats up very quickly once the heat is turned on, and it retains the heat well. Here we have 17C / 63F so that’s not too bad.

@marlina It can get cold sometimes when it's really cold outside. Those are the times I use the fireplace.

@marlina I hope you warm up soon. It is not fun to be cold inside as well as outside. Bills go up when have to use things to be warm in the winter and other things when have to be comfortable in the summer. It is not fun but that is how it is.

Hubby is feeling the chill. I think I will get him a heated throw for Christmas, it will save us on our heating bill. It is damp and chill here.

Fall is my favorite season. Not too hot (usually) and (for me) not too cold. If I do get cold I just throw on a sweater.
