@Juliaacv February??? It is your husband birthday month and you will be grandmother on February.

@LadyDuck I know, and I love him dearly, but for being such a short month it always feels so long to me as winter is almost over but it is still so very cold during that month. It is the month for the winter blues I feel.

@marlina I actually don't quite get it why there is a supposed to be a miserable month. Usually, there is much excitement because January brings the new year, February ushers sweetness, March is all fired up, April blooms, May drizzles and so on and so forth all the way to sweet November and heartwarming and Christmassy December.

@marlina I did step outside before it got light out this morning to watch the wind roll the neighbor's trash can down the street and across the highway. (I wasn't dressed enough to go chase it down.)

How cold does it get?

@marlina Temperatures will get down in the twenties and sometimes lower in the coldest months. But an average would likely be in the forties.

@marlina I wear layers and one of them is a warm vest and a warm winter jacket or down coat because it does get cold here.

For me, it is too dark

@marlina Yes, sometimes what I don't like is the constant rain and the wind that won't let up.
