Today has been a good day.
I'm thankful for finally getting to sleep last night after being wired from watching the Packers win the game last night. I got to bed at 1:30 AM and got up with a phone call at 7:40. I didn't fall asleep until around 4.
I'm thankful I got the notifications finished and visited with you this morning.
I'm thankful I finally got the hardcover copy of Vendetta done today. KDP added hardcover. It took me several hours to get it figured out because of the cover design. Now, I can get the others in hardcover too.
I'm thankful my son and his girlfriend came to dinner tonight. I started the lamb in the crockpot at noon. I also made garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli stir fry, with brownies for dessert. I have leftovers for tomorrow. They just left after giving me the info to stream Hulu, Vudu, Disney+, and Discovery+.
Okay, that's been my day. I need to get off the computer. My back is in intense pain, so I'm going to sit in my recliner with the massage on and watch TV before going to bed a little earlier than last night or this morning.
Tomorrow, I have a dinner party to go to. That was the phone call this morning. I'm looking forward to that. Otherwise, it will be a relaxed day tomorrow.

Wow, is that your son's photo with her girlfriend ? Both pictures of you and son look beautiful. Congratulations for your book.
Thanks for inspir8me to be thankful for everything. Now, I look forward to be thankful for whatever I do or whatever I recieve.
I was planning to buy a recliner too that works as a massager too but it's to costly. I hope I can get well faster so I can go back to work and maybe buy a recliner couch too

Thank you. Now that I know how to get the covers into hardcover for my books, it should be a lot easier.
I needed the recliner after my knee replacement last year. I found one with a massage feature that helps a lot. I hope you can find an affordable one.
I'm glad you learned to be thankful for everything.

I thought maybe that was your new apartment in the background but I guess not
I'm thankful I got several boxes of kitchen things put away yesterday. Before I do more I need to move shelves around to fit tall things like oils and such.
I'm thankful I have next week off on vacation so I can do more window accounts and get a bit more caught up. I'm thankful that the forecast shows no rain for the week. I know that can change but it's a start anyway
I'm checking out a new church with my kids tomorrow. They've been going for a few weeks but I usually work Sunday mornings. My husband been doing a morning bible study so he'll be going to the church we've attended these past 8-10 years.

@just4him it won't be a perfect fit but if it makes my kids happy that's the main thing.
Maybe one day we will pay for cable and then we can watch live or church out of Ohio. That one is a more perfect fit. Although I do believe God will meet our needed in any church if we listen to the sermon with open ears and meekness.

I had Hulu, but when I wasn't here for a month due to knee surgery, I canceled it. My son gave it to me on his account along with Disney+ for Christmas two years ago. His girlfriend gave me Discovery+ on her account. I shared with them Paramount Plus.
Thank you. I'm glad they were here. It was a good time with them. I'm looking forward to tonight's dinner party with friends from church.

I'm thankful for the wonderful heat coming out of our heat vents. There are people all over the globe, without this blessing. I'm thankful for God's patience and forgiveness that he so graciously gives. I'm thankful that God will supply my every need, today and forever!

Except for the back pain, which I hope stays away, it was a perfect day! My day just home, relaxing. I'm thankful for finding healthy delicious pastries to enjoy. Thankful for finding my rolling pullcart, at last! Thankful for sunny days to shop.
