I don't understand the problem... If you took it home, use the silverware and a paper towel you already own.

The problem is that if I were not going home, like to maybe the park, and not have a fork to eat my lunch with, I would not have been very happy. At all.

@DaddyEvil I may have to do that. If I remember to.

@bluerubymoon53 Oh, I see. Then maybe you should just ask before you leave the drive-thru for a fork and napkin, just in case.

Sometimes; I wonder if you have to start asking for certain things at a restaurant. This happens to me too.

Why would a customer have to ask for a FORK to be able to eat the salad?

Sometimes you need to say something and request those items.

Wouldn't it make sense to put a FORK in the bag with the salad? Maybe I was going to go to the park and watch the river flow while I was eating.

No where here has been giving napkins for awhile. Though they have plenty. I might get wendys tomorrow, been few weeks since I've had them

I mostly do the opposite. On the rare occasions I do get takeout food to take home and eat, I tell them I don't want plastic silverware, and just use my own at home. Those plastic things often break, and I prefer my own anyway. But I don't hardly ever get takeout.
