Much better since I showered

Warning, GROSNESS.
My student is disabled, does not speak, wears diapers.
Evidently he felt ill today.
I spent the last two hours of the day first of all, changing diapers, and his clothes then, after that. . . he fell asleep. Then woke up moaning and groaning, and threw up! or Vomitted.
So I had to hurry and clean him up. His mom was called. In the process I feel like I got some on me. I know I did on my shoes.
I have had a shower and a cup of coffee. I feel much more pleasant now.

No one enjoys being puked on.

He did not actively puke on me, but I had to move him from a rocking chair to his wheel chair to take him to the locker room/changing room. My teacher found him more clean clothes since his family had not brought us any for a while. He was such a mess I could not keep it off of me.

@GardenGerty When my mother was dying, she projectile vomitted, three times. No matter which side of the bed I moved to, she got me every time.

I am hoping his parents are sensible and will keep him home long enough to recover.

@RubyHawk Nope, sent him back to school the next day. Jokes on them, school is closed today, Friday.I am sure he will be at daycare today, though.

Yes, there is nothing quite like a good shower after a messy day. Spoken as someone who has found out the hard way (several times over) that one of the cats wasn't feeling well.

OH no!. Yes, lots of messes are best remedied by a shower.

There are times when there is a problem and all you can do is deal with it.

Hi, have not seen you around in ages. Often a shower and food help, and lets not forget the nap.

My dog has puked on me once. She's car sick. She puked in the car when she was a puppy. Thankfully she has gotten over it now.
