November 16 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Well, it isn't maintenance who promised to be here at 1 to show me how to use my new kitchen sink. That's okay. I'll figure it all out.
I'm thankful I got to the pool this morning and wasn't rushed to get out of there. I enjoyed more time in the pool and hot tub. I also had a great workout in the fitness center with another personal best on the stationary bike.
I'm thankful I remembered to go to Walgreens this morning and get gas on the way home. I had an eighth of a tank left.
I'm thankful gas prices are coming down. 
I'm thankful for therapy this morning. It was a good session. My next is Friday morning.
Okay, that's my day. I still have a lot of notifications. However, I need to write. The book won't write itself. I'm also going to take a hot shower to warm up.
As for the water situation yesterday? They never came back to turn it on. I figured it out with the valves under the sink. It was tricky because I can't kneel. I used a footstool to get under those sinks and find the valves and turn them on and hope that would turn on the water. I called the emergency maintenance number last night because I didn't have water. It was after that that I figured out everything but the kitchen sink. She called back after I was in bed and told me how to get water with that faucet. She said she would be back today to show me how to use it. She's a no-show.

Best of luck to you with the book, I am going to enter a fiction contest but have no idea if I can pull off a short story, Can it just be written with no one saying any dialogue? Thankful I am feeling better and now I am working on a list of sites to try for writing jobs so it will keep me occupied,

I got it on myself when I realized they just didn't turn the valves on. I thought they needed to turn it on from outside the apartment.

Maintenance was a no-show. However, it wasn't hard to figure out.
I'm glad you're in good health. I'm glad you had a resolution in a situation.

No water and a no show? Goodness, where is their mind off to? I'm thankful that we have running water!:) Your workout this morning sounds wonderful, you're on your way to a healthier, trimmer Valerie

Sorry about the kitchen /water situation. I am glad the rest was good and had a lot to be thankful for. Hope the writing is going well. I never got started on mine

I'm glad you kind of have the sink working and sorry that she didn't show up. Good luck with the writing, too. It's always nice when you don't feel rushed.
