Help Me Rhonda! Or SOMEBODY!!!

Today I went to McAlister’s, a chain of healthier-option delis with famous ice tea. No kidding, that stuff is brewed on-site AND they use real cane sugar for the sweet tea. They also have free WiFi, which I used to full advantage to harass you with those songs earlier today.
While I was eating I saw an older lady with a dog walk by. I didn’t think anything of it. After all, everybody knows that pets aren’t allowed in a restaurant unless it’s a service animal, right?
Apparently not.
After a few minutes a manager came to the woman’s table and told her that dogs weren’t allowed.
I’m glad they resolved that issue. So she got up and left or went to the outdoor seating, right?
Apparently not.
Help me, Rhonda! Or somebody!!! I truly thought that one of the first rules of eating out that everybody and their brother knew was that animals aren’t allowed in a public restaurant!
Yeah, apparently not!
Then to NOT leave after the manager explained that the animal wasn’t allowed??
Ouch!
Now we know why the Beach Boys needed help!

1965... This was the first Beach Boys single where their guitarist Al Jardine sang lead. The song was written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love. Wilson explained...

The lady must be one of those who need a real bang on the head to understand anything, Too bad Rhonda could not help her and set the situation straight,

@FourWalls Well, there are dogs and dogs just like there are owners and owners. I'm sure you were one of the good ones.

@JudyEv —
No, I never dressed her up or took her places. My main expenses with her were vet bills and food, not elaborate dog houses and monogrammed towels for her baths.

See, that’s why I never took my baby anywhere. The people couldn’t see she was a well-mannered child dressed up as a dog, so……

She should live in Key West. Dogs are allowed in all the bars and eateries. It's kind of cool.

Yeah, but 99.999% of the eateries there are outside.

TLC demands restaurants with dog seating areas. They proclaim those that don't barbarian food providers!

I get that chipotle chicken spud, minus bacon and add tomatoes, and the chicken tortilla soup. I’ll scrape some of the potato into the soup so it becomes chicken potato soup!

The sad part if that the restaurant could be closed due to a health code violation if she didn't leave or take the dog to an outside seating area...

I seriously doubt she cared about anyone except herself.

I would be shaking my head too because I really thought it was a given that pets weren't allowed in eating establishments. Did that lady never hear of the Board of Health?????

She may have heard of them, but she probably didn’t care.

I thought that, but normally service animals have vests or clear markings so they ARE allowed in places. I didn’t see anything like that on this one.
