Juliaccv had posted about a barley shortage earlier and some of my FB friends said there were lines at two of the local liquor stores and they sold out of whiskey!!
. Yikes, well I don't drink whiskey at Thanksgiving so I guess I am safe. They better get reordered pronto, because the big drinking occasions Christmas and New Years are right around the corner. I have no doubt the state will do what it can to get some in, since there is no way they are gonna not get that revenue..

The scary thing is that those who cannot get their whiskey will switch to another liquor.
The fine vodka comes from Russia, I do not know if it will be affected with the shipping issues we are experiencing globally or not.
I have a few bottles that I want to pick up this week, just in case.
I love Kahlua and that is on my list, and we need another bottle or maybe 2 of Crown Royal whiskey-for medicinal purposes, and while I'm there I should pick up a bottle of spiced rum for my hubby.
Stock up now for the entire winter is my motto.

@snowy22315 My hubby smokes Colts Mild and there has been shortages on those also.
Although I think that is a good thing.

You probably could, course that would be highly illegal here...You would have to do some kind of money laundering or something...lol.

Oh for real? That is funny coz I just bought barley a few days ago after years of not buying it.
I put it in the beautiful chicken soup I made.

I have noticed canned cat food shortages and supply chain shortages Dollar General is the worst offender when it comes to that.

@Happy2BeMe There is also a shortage on aluminum that they use for cans, and as soon as that supply becomes short, the bottles will too.
