She’d Kill Me if She Knew

I’m certain my son’s girlfriend wouldn’t really kill me if she knew I posted this photo of her sleeping with her girls on her. Why? I asked permission. lol
My younger son and his girlfriend stop by often to visit us. It’s so wonderful having them less than a five minute drive from us, a quick bike ride, or a nice walk away.
For those of you who know, all the girls moved into our son’s house about one month ago. They all adjusted immediately.
That’s a very good sign I’m happy to announce.
By the way, @just4him sent me a lovely Thanksgiving card today. I also received her new phone number, and will call my friends when I’m not having a Saturday night martini!

OMG both of those cats look just like my beloved SoCo who has been gone for 4 years now. I got him straight out of my college days so I had Sake (and a fish called "Sushi"), "SoCo" (Southern Comfort) and "Cosmo" (Cosmopolitan). My sister had "Jameson" and "Gin".
Now my cats have more normal names--Striper, Charlie, and Adso.

The two cats look like my cat Burt who I nickname "Three colors" since his coat is black, white and gray.

It’s so nice to hear from you.
Thanks so much for the card! I absolutely love it, but won’t create a specific post about it, as others do. Just know that I am happy and grateful. Will give you a call when I have time to breathe. Not now after my martini

Today, I won't be home. We're having our Thanksgiving/Packer party at church today. I'm going to a new church now. It's a house church. I absolutely love it. So, we decided to have Thanksgiving dinner today and watch the Packers game. It will be loads of fun. Something I don't have too much of in my solitary life.
I'm so glad you got the card and love it. I hoped it would reach you in time. Mail is so slow. It took a week to receive a letter mailed a block away. I hoped it would travel a little faster getting to you. I'm glad it did.

@DianneN - We had a weird Saturday evening/night. At sunset the sky was red, with pretty pink clouds... good sign. While I was cooking I heard loud thunders, weird a thunderstorm in winter. I checked if it rained... NO!!! Not rain, that white unmentionable thing.
