So, yesterday I was out and about trying to collect some supplies for my trip, and I was shocked that the one market I go to which has good prices on frozen fish was completely, yes and I mean completely out of frozen fish. I was shocked! Now other places have frozen fish for an extremely high price..No, Thank you. I am talking about fresh fish that has been frozen not like Mrs. Pauls fish sticks or Van de Camps and the like, as far as i know the supplies of those kinds of things are fine. What is short where you are?

Like yourself, I only rely on 1 merchant to buy our fish and I haven't bought any in a bit. But shortages seem to be the theme that we will remember from 2021.

I've been hearing the problem on the news: Supply Chain. I suppose that--the way it seems like more-&-more people are using services like Amazon's delivery & HelloFresh & GrubHub etc.--people are drawn more to the building- and manufacturing-industries than to the lonely shipping (mostly truck-driving) industry. That's the cornerstone of what Napoleon Hill praised about our Capitalism---the way we can bring 'foods from all the producing continents on the planet' into one little midwestern apartment for what-seems-like a miniscule fraction of the price it would take to go out and get them all yourself!

I think so too, if it is not one thing it is another.

@mythociate Sometimes people have to use the above services because the other things can't be located in stores. I was completely shocked to see the fish freezer bare!

Cream Cheese was totally empty in one store here. Didn't go looking anywhere else because I only wanted some for my toast so it wasn't dire that I couldn't find any. It's crazy how one store can be totally out of something and another fully stocked with what you're looking for

It was kind of that way at the beginning of the pandemic. I remember trying to make chili and had to go to 3 different stores to get the ingredients.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, I was at the store today..One shelf of something seemed to be wiped out but most things seemed to be in their proper places and enough of them.

The last time I went shopping they only had some Christmas cookies I like that were sold out but I don't consider cookies to be that important ...... the only time I eat cookies is around Christmas and then I'm picky, I only like Walkers shortbread cookies.

I continue to have difficulities finding wet cat food. I mean they have some but it is not well stocked. I ordered it on Amazon the last time. Nico isn't really a wet food fan other than some of the juices, but it is good for them.

I get most of my pet food from either Chewy.com or Walmart.com.

Gee wish I could give you some of mine, got tons in the freezer here. No shortage of frozen fish..Van de Camps and Gortons. I still have not noticed any shortages, but of course I am not going inside the stores. I shop online at Walmart Grocery.

I wasn't talking about fish like that I know they are around. I meant frozen FRESH fish as I said, like the stuff that is caught and immediately frozen, not processed.

My patience is getting short on hearing about all these shortages. So far, I have not really noticed anything being on short supply. I have noticed the prices on everything keep going up though. It's getting crazy how much the prices of everything are going. Oh, except my paycheck is not going up at all.

Ya know, they vay alot the one closest to me is not stocked very well. One South of here is horrible. Another one I know is pretty good. And a new one not far away is well stocked. That store is strange!
