China is a sleeping giant. Its billion plus population is so horrible despite its One Child Policy. I think they resorted to 2 Children Policy when they realized their population may decline due to million deaths every year due to old age and foremost cancer. China is an opium country.
What intrigues me most is their youths who took art entrance examination, so numerous seems reaching to Planet X. I hope @youless can explain this better if their country conducts only one time art entrance examination. Thanks for reading. Amen.

I can't explain the art entrance examination because I don't know much about it. I know usually art students have to apply for several art universities and they have to pass their exams so that they are qualified to those art universities. For example, I passed the art exams for university A and B and then at last I have to choose which I will go to. I am sure every year there are quite a lot of students have university entrance exams and art students are one of them. Students always have high study pressure here. Of course if you just want to go to an ordinary colleges, and it won't be so difficult.

Oh such a massive rush!
They could have kept one round online and then kept a second round for limited students.
Or may be divided in different batches.
Not sure why such a rush was allowed in one place!

Looks like a lack of resources, lack of planning or a decision out of an urge to save money!

Didn't we have this thing in our elementary and highschool days? Not sure if this is surprising. We need to get rid of covid soon so children can come abck to school classes.

@snowy22315, it seems no limit and control. If there is entrance fee, the organizers could gather lump sum money.
