It is okay but not liking the way they portray Princess Dianne. I once met her many years ago in this area shortly after her and Prince Charles married. She was so beautiful and the smallest littlest person I met.she was so frail. She stopped and spoke with my Dad. There was even a picture of my Dad and her shaking hands in a book. They had a lengthy conversation that day, she was so swwr and so genuine. I hate when they portray her badly...I was in a very emotionally abuse marriage and I get it. I can't imagine being her and on a world's stage all the time. It truly is heartbreaking, Have you seen the movie?

What I knew of the late Princess Diana was that she was a very nice human being who liked meeting people. The movie version of her being in a bad light is meant to get viewers. I have yet to see the movie though.

@Happy2BeMe One reason the late Princess Diana was called "The People's Princess."

I have also met Princess Diana, when she and Charles visited Milan soon after their marriage, she was a tall woman. They destroyed her personality to oblige her to become a Princess.

@Happy2BeMe I imagine that Kate Middleton is even more thin than Lady Diana, she is also very tall.

How lucky for you and your Dad. She certainly had an amazing empathy for people. I didn't think she was so small though.

She was very tall but so thin. She had the tiniest little hands and long very thin arms.

Wow that is so cool you and your dad got to meet Princess Di. I didn't see that movie - but I saw "The Crown" , there they portrayed her as being neglected in a marriage and perhaps being in over her head which.... yeah, I would be too having to be on stage at all times

@Happy2BeMe I think it's one of those things that on the surface sounds amazing (yay, be royalty) but in reality is probably huge responsibility and stress

No, I don't like to tune into movies about her because the family that she married into has so much power that I feel like they write the script, not sure if that is true or not, but I have to think that from what I vaguely remember about her first coming into the limelight, she was just a shy lady dating a prince. They built her up to be a princess and tore down the original 'her' and that is why I won't watch anything put out about her. The truth isn't told.
