A Very Tired Monday

Happy Monday Everyone! it's cold with the sun and clouds taking turns. The sun peeks out and then it hides behind gray clouds.
I'm tired today. It was a good extra long weekend starting with Thanksgiving on Thurs. My daughter had all those days off from work and wasn't too thrilled to have to go back to work this morning. I'm sure she's doubly glad that she works from home and doesn't have to venture out into the actual working world.
I went to bed last night with a mental "to do" list for today. If I get half of the things done that I thought I was going to do it will be a miracle.
Some things can be put off and other things can't.
The laundry is already started and I'm just trying to organize my thoughts while I have my coffee.
Today and tomorrow and another month comes to an end. I say this every month but time is going by too fast.

I always thought the older you get the faster time goes by but even someone young like you says the same thing.

@Marilynda1225 I have not finished to decorate, but the tree is up. I have to finish to craft a new Angel, it is incredible how fast Christmas is approaching.

I had most of the last week off of work (aside from Wednesday, when I worked somewhere I don't normally). Today will be my first day back, and my first early morning in four days.

It's hard to go back to work when you've been off for awhile. Early mornings and I don't get along very well

It is amazing how little of our actual daily goals get done sometimes. I try to concentrate on one or two main goals and that is it, because I know I am not going to get everything done. Happy Monday`

I didn't get as much done as I had wanted. I try not to set myself up for failure by having a mental overwhelming to do list but after Thanksgiving the next few days just flew by.

@Marilynda1225 Without any 'special events' over the course of the past almost 2 years alot of us feel this way. And yet time passes.

I'm tired from too much good food (especially stuff with salt).
I'm definitely not ready for snow that accumulates but I guess it's the season and we have to deal with it.

It is hard to get back into the swing of things after a long weekend.
Hope you get what you need to done today. Getting ready to get the second load of laundry out and begin cooking dinner. I swept the floors. Not a lot done on my to do list either but it is a start.
