I felt bad that I was not able to witness the lighting of our Christmas tree this year. For your information, it is located in the Upper Session Road, Baguio City. On the other hand, I was also glad not to attend for such an event because it was flocked by so many people. Good luck for them not to be infected with Covid 19.
Are your city or place have Christmas tree now?

@zhangxueying I noticed that Hong Kong people love Christmas trees. In fact, I had seen purple ones before when visiting this place. In Guangdong province, I had seen only a few.

@Shavkat There should be a Christmas tree in the shopping mall a few days before Christmas. After all, this is a western festival. If it is the Spring Festival, it will be very different. People will prepare this grand festival very early. The Spring Festival will have a seven day legal holiday

No, mine just put wreath's with lights all over. I kinda of like my city but I kind of hate it too. I was thinking how it was when I was a kid to how it is now. Night and day and a lot more uppity and corporate and just not nearly as nice or fun. Covid I get, but these guys were alienating people a long time ago. Kind of like our whole country there is definitely a divide.
I am glad you all celebrating though and hope there is no divide like that there.

I don't think so.... If our city does, I've never seen it.

@DaddyEvil Really? It sounds like you can know all the people living there.

@Shavkat It's a small city. There isn't much to roam.

Interesting, it doesn't look much like a US tree at all. I think they are lighting the tree up in the nearby city tomorrow. I would like to go, but I really don't like to drive in the dark, and especially not around here no streetlights in this area.

@Shavkat I try to avoid it when possible. Sometimes it can't be helped.

@snowy22315 I am sure it is not an easy thing to do especially if the weather is bad.

Our small town decorates a live tree that is growing there. Plus all the businesses decorate and the town does the light poles

It is a shame to not be able to see it, but being responsible is much more worth it. We might have something in the city, but I have never seen it. We do have festivals and such with Christmas lights, I have been to that before and it is very fun. We ourselves have a tiny Christmas tree that sits on a table.

Yeah it's very worrying when we attend an event with a lot of people there, because the pandemic is still happening. Here I don't celebrate Christmas because many people in Indonesia are Muslim, but there are also some people who celebrate it and we still respect it, that's tolerance.
