Some of our Christmas trees

I wrote about the living Christmas tree that we purchased for this year. So I thought I’d put up a collage of others we’ve had over the years.
In the photo, top left, you can see a pine-tree branch that we had one year. Of course, it dropped its needles all over the floor but in a sense it was real.
Lower left is a cone shape I concocted from plastic mesh when Vince was away in Nepal. I then covered it in tinsel and it came out as you can see in the top right photo.
Lower right is a tree I made from a glossy catalogue. You can find the instructions for making such a tree on the internet. Of course, it’s very small.

When I went to my friend Juanita's last week, I cut off several branches from her mugo pines that are crowded her walkway. I brought a couple home for myself and the rest she'll use in a potted display at her door.
I like to bring in a branch or two of pine instead of a whole tree. Plus I have my mother's ceramic tree and a potted Norfolk Island pine (house plant). AND a small potted pine at my door.

@JudyEv What can I say? I like plants. But I don't have as many as my mother used to have. I counted over 100 houseplants one day back in the 60s.

@BarBaraPrz That would have been a lot to look after. I don't really want that many. I have enough trouble keeping alive the few I have! lol

That is quite some collage!
To be frank, the top left looks the best, but others are also fine.
I am thinking of a few Collage discussions!!
JJ looks to have gone on a long break but I suppose that he would be back soon.

They can come in handy even when there is something good to talk about!
Yes let us hope he is back after a break.
May be he has had an overload of all the social media!

I have a little tabletop tree that is fake. I love it. My uncle has another tabletop tree that might be putting up sometime.

Pssst..... glossy catalogue...you get glossy calendars ...you can take the calendar pages and make them larger may be. Nice ones. Now I am wondering where is my gift box out there...did you get to tell Adam Gilchrist I think he was the greatest ever captain of our team? Him acknowledging it would be great.

Creative. We are not fond of Christmas trees. I like small Christmas trees

Those are some awesome trees. I think you are very clever. I don't do trees anymore but always did when the kids lived home. I just display a nativity and parts of a winter village that survived over the years. It was a big village and I shared it with my best friend. She had it one year and I had it the next. Over the years, parts have been broken or stolen so I have what is left. It will do.

Very interesting and cool choices. We will use our little tabletop tree again this year. We just take it out of the cubby and plug it in.
