Instead of small yogurts I went for the big one this time. 1kg of yogurt in one pot !! There weren't many choices but the one I chose (the one in the picture) tastes great. I usually eat yogurt in fruit salads, but since I got this one I want to try something new with it. Do you guys consume yogurt very often ? Do you get the big one ? What do you use it in / eat it with ?

It depends on the type of yogurt and what we plan to do with it. If we're making shawarma, we buy a large container so we can soak the chicken in yogurt for four hours before we cook it. I do sometimes add yogurt to something I'm cooking, even if the recipe doesn't call for adding yogurt.

@Babino I'm from the US. I have a friend in the UAE who gave us the recipe for shawarma. (I don't like shawarma in a wrap, though. But Pretty prefers it that way. I just eat the chicken and veggies without the wrap.) I add a tablespoon of plain yogurt to any kind of noodles with ground beef that I'm making. It gives it a creamier flavor. YUM! Shawarma. Photo is mine.

That’s a big tub of yogurt! I sometimes add yogurt to curries. They can take away some of the spicy heat if it’s too much.

@Babino You’re welcome! I’ve never heard of carry? Curries are Indian spicy meals. They can range from mild Kormas to hot Vindaloos. Usually the amount and strength of chilli used determines the ‘heat’ factor. I prefer something in the middle like a Tikka Masala or a Balti.

@JimBo452020 I have not seen the big yogurt container at Walmart. I might have to go where they sell bulk food to get the big container of yogurt.

@Babino Not. I'm not good at making yogurt. If I want to eat yogurt, I just buy it at the supermarket.
