Rain and More Rain

As I commented to a friend on Mylot today, I’m about to go stir crazy stuck in my apartment with rain pouring down.I have spoken on the phone to my brother. My son, daughter in law and a sister so I’ve had people to talk to, But I’m thankful I have an apartment to be stuck in. So many people have lost their homes due to the storms and tornadoes. Many lost their lives.
I hope my friends on Mylot have fared well. We’ve had no really bad weather near me, it’s just rain and more rain. Hopefully we’ll have better weather soon and can get out in nature. Everyone take care and sleep well tonight.

I saw the carnage the tornados caused and realised a lot of people would not be sleeping in their own beds again for a long time..
Sad, very sad that so many people did die..

That's really sad for the affected. Here it does not rain much. No very destructive storm so far this year just lots of flooding

@averygirl72 We’ve had-more floods than anything else but several years ago tornadoes hit not far from us and did lots of damage.

Other things to wrong too we lost Internet for four days the company tried to repair the problem nothing got done and finally workers came to take a look and luckily they got everyone here connected and back online but it makes me anxious not knowing what went wrong being all alone my Internet is my connecting with friends and the world, in general, Send the rain here to me in Florida the palm trees are wilting

That’s bad to lose your internet. I would be completely isolated without mine. I could speak to a neighbor since I live in an apartment, that is if I could find anyone at home. Four days is a long time to be Without internet. Glad they finally got yours back on. Hope you get some rain soon.

I heard about the tornadoes. I am glad to know that the weather is not bad near you. We don't experience the typhoon here in my place. It rained from 11pm to 4am.

I hope you stay ok. It is sad those that have lost their homes for whatever reason. Even though you have a home sometimes we feel so stuck inside that we want to be outside but since it is raining where you are I hope you do ot get wet and can stay inside till the rain is gone. I hope you take care too.
