Office Party

Last December 10, we had a our company party. It was actually two parties, one was a Zoom party which started at 6:00pm and the second one was held at the office which started at 8:00pm.
I attended the Zoom party only because of the raffle. Too bad I didn't win. They gave out of town trips for two to Siargao, Palawan, and La Union. These are popular vacation and beach spots in the country.
They also gave Grab credits worth Php2,000, Php3,000, and Php5,000. Grab is a ride-sharing and food delivery app. An officemate won Php5,000 Grab credits but since she was not logged in anymore in the Zoom party, her prize was forfeited.
After the Zoom party, I got ready and made the trip to the office. It was a different party from the previous ones I had attended because it was held in the office, I was actually on shift, plus they allowed us to consume alcohol! How great was that?!!!
Me, being on shift didn't put a damper on the holiday spirit honestly. I had a legitimate excuse not to drink although I did have two glasses of rum cola.
Previous office partiers that I attended were good but not great like this.

Is that the new place you work. You are the one that said you needed to find a new job if I remember right. My memory not what it used to be.
Regardless sounds like a pretty cool place to work for and they have you in good spirits. Amen to that.

Yup, new work.
Started last October.
It was a great switch for me. Helped with my mental health although I wish it would do better in my financial health as well.

Glad I see parties now We will not have any Christmas party this year for the whole agency but we will have it in my own department. How many more parties will you attend this year?

The last place I worked had a massive Christmas party the first year I worked there. The boss flew our reps in from all over the country and put them up in a hotel in town. We had a limo to take us to the restaurant so anyone who wanted to drink could. And it was one of those “fancy” restaurants with the multiple courses and “use this spoon, not that spoon” stuff.
