December 12 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL REJOICE and be glad in it.
I'm thankful today is Sunday. It's the best day of the week. I have the privilege of meeting with other believers for the church at the house church I started attending in October. It's exhilarating. I'm learning so much and the participation is great. So are the hugs. Today I was late. I left the apartment on time, but it took a half-hour to get the ice and snow off the car. I'm not complaining. I was also not very late and well, we never start right on time anyway.
I'm thankful for the time I was here this morning before I left for church. It's great seeing what you all are doing in your part of the world.
I'm thankful for the beautiful Christmas card I got in the mail from @JudyEv. Thank you so much.
I'm thankful for the work I did on my friend's book when I got home from church. I promised to have it finished and to her by the end of this week. I will. I have 20 chapters left to go through.
Okay, that's my day. I need to get off the computer, put my legs up, watch a show or two before the Packers/Bear game tonight. This should be a good day. It always is when we play the Bears.

I am thankful for assisting my sister cleaning up my bedroom since the rent inspectors will be coming to have a look at the rental property on Wednesday.

I am thankful that friend was able to get the shower door back on the track. It was just too big for me to get a good grasp on it.

I'm thankful my house is back in order after a week of painting, etc. I'm 100% thankful for my son and his family who took time from their busy work schedules to do all this work for me. I am truly blessed

I hope enjoyed the game last night. I didn't watch it but my fiance complained a little about the packs special teams being bad. He still thinks Aaron is mvp though

I'm thankful for my grandson, Zachary. Having him visit two days in row, what a blessing! We hadn't seen him since February, it gets pretty lonely without the kids around.

I'm thank ful to have three meals a day, with my family safe and unharmed.
I'm also thankful for having dogs that remains to be alive to this day.
I'm thankful to be healthy and not seriously sick.

I am thankful that my son called me today, and he was chit-chatty. I wasn't and didn't feel like talking to anyone at that moment (because I was in the middle of cleaning my old apartment). But my son has a steady now, so he's now relying on me for advice less and less.
