I am Scared because...

...the plastic boundaries were all gone in public transportations, such as mini-buses and jeepneys. It seems things are getting better these past few days. Plus, the passengers are not using face shields now. I used to brace myself when entering these vehicles because of this killer virus. At some point, I prefer riding on taxis; but then, it is expensive to deal with the fare.
Are you feeling not scared when riding public transportation in your country now?

I take public transpo when going to work in the morning. I feel a bit squeamish. I saw somewhere that we might have more or less reached herd immunity.

We have buses that's about it and never ride if do not have to. This place does not like public transportation period but with how expensive everything already is really, but even worse now they going to have to do a lot of things if they want their precious capitalism to survive.
As far as virus, our plan is just be vaccinated and get the booster if you can. Cannot really do it any other way with the crazy people here. These times are so depressing.

When I was not vaccinated yet, I do not want to ride to any public transportations. I prefer walking from my house to the town proper and vice-versa. I just noticed that some vaccinated souls were so complacent if being outside their comfort zones.

@Shavkat Yeah, I heat that, still have to use common sense vaccinated or not. I get we all want things back to so called normal and not sure that is possible at this point but to let your guard down is silly if you want to live and not get other people sick.

@crossbones27 Even being outside, they tend to move closer in a waiting line and the like. I am quite frank when dealing with these people.

The plastic boundaries in jeepneys seem useless to me because people are still close to each other. I think it's too early to remove the faceshield

@Shavkat You really think they did it on purpose. They and Russia acting pretty crazy lately well always but more than normal. I can see a lab accident and just got out. I just do not think people would deliberately get their own people sick. Maybe I am still Naive.

@crossbones27 I had read so many articles and claimed to be in this country. I have been to China and the culture is quite different from ours. They have been aiming to pull down the USA and be the most powerful country in the world.

I guess we have to just wear the masks required by us to at least be secured. I just hope that the Omicron won't be able to enter our borders. So far we are managing the Delta Variant already and vaccination is being aggressively done to achieve herd immunity.

There is no public transport where Pretty and I live. I wouldn't ride it if there was.

@Shavkat Yes, everyone owns their own car or truck for traveling anywhere. Once we get out of our car, we put on face masks to go into any stores.

I don't use public transportation as such because I drive my car everywhere. When the destination is far, I take cabs as I find that convenient. I recently used airport taxi in November. That's the only time I used a public transport in this pandemic.

@arunima25 I usually walk for about 30 minutes going to the town proper and ride a cab if going back home.

@Shavkat I prefer walking to all the small distances. I walk to my workplace if I don't have to pick up or drop my daughter. Her school is a little far for walking.

When there are no cases of infection in this city, you also need to wear a mask, otherwise you can't get on the bus. This is the rule.

I rarely take green jeepneys or jeepneys now a days. Because you don't know which is sanitized or not.
