Hi everyone! We carry some items e.g. our vehicle keys etc., while leaving our house, as without these essential items, it gets difficult to manage.
Which are the 3-4 things which you will definitely carry with you while going out of your home?

On other travels, it depends on the place/purpose I am supposed to visit.

I guess masks have become such a part of my life now, I don't even give it much thought. I keep clean masks in the car at all times.

It would be better to leave your Debit card at home, if you are frequently using your credit card. Debit Card if lost could be misused easily. What about carrying your mobile phone while going out?

I keep some essentials in my car that basically stay there, as often I have found myself needing things and not having them, or I am hauling grandchildren who need something. I always have a roll of paper towels, small package of tissues, a phone charger, hand sanitizer, and an umbrella. Most of these items are under the front car seat. In the winter I have a folded blanket in the back hatch area. Driving glasses are always in the car. I carry my key fob in my purse, as I don't have to have keys to start my car, just push a button if I have the keys with me.

Your reply sounds interesting. You see when we are going somewhere in our personal vehicle (car) we could carry lots of things with us, which may be needed on the way. I was talking about those things, which you essentially carry while going out of your home on foot.

Hullo Deepak! I always carry two bottles of water with me when I go out.I have shifted to Ahmedabad and here I take two sachets of Electral too if I need to go anywhere. I am worried about dehydration and try to protect myself from this. Apart from this I keep my handbag and perhaps a comb at times .

I am sorry for the late response Kala. Nice to see you here on this discussion. How come you have shifted to Ahmedabad? It is always wiser to carry water bottles when going out. I also do the same in summers.

I must have my fanny pack, with my ID and one credit card and a few coins. It is important also to have a phone.

I understand that phone is most essential of all because with phone you could make online payment (if you have banking applications installed). ID card and credit card are also essential while going out.

@dpk262006 I have in my purse a day planner, my phone, a small lotion bottle, a small bottle of hand santizer, and my covid vaccination card. I sometimes have in my purse my kindle in case I get bored.

Everything goes in my bag, but when I don't have a bag I always make sure I have my phone, wallet, bandaids, and my mask! (bandaids are because I am very clumsy)

@FayeHazel It means you must have cleaning wipes with you, otherwise you would use napkins/ hand sanitizer to cleanse.

@dpk262006 I try to be sure I have them with me, but if not I will try to get by using napkins, or hand sanitizer, look for some for sale where I am out... good question
