Took off Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to just relax and watch Christmas movies, I have my little tree up and my purple lights and a small manger. I was watching movies like "White Christmas" "Scrooge" the musical, "The Santa Clause" and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" among others and still have some I have not watched. Sunday was the Second Christmas in Latvia so I had an extra Christmas Day, I was wondering what you were all up to and now that Christmas is over we have New Year's Eve and the New Year to look forward to.
I needed this time just to unwind and it turned into a good three day holiday for me, Now I can work through the week and then relax on New Year's Eve. I had some moments of nostalgia wanting snow but realized with amusement that snow on Palm Trees would look like everywhere there were giant vanilla ice cream cones. Just doesn't work but snow on fir and pine trees looks lovely, Besides you wouldn't chop down a palm tree and put it in your living room now would you?

No, a Christmas Palm Tree just doesn't seem right, LOL! We have just been relaxing and taking it easy since Christmas day. It feels good, but a bit too much laziness at this point. I have recorded a whole bunch of Christmas movies that I didn't have time to watch before Christmas. I love Christmas movies and can watch them any time of year.

During the hottest months in Florida, I have sat down to watch Christmas movies just to see the snow @Kouponkaren

@RasmaSandra Aw, that's kind of sweet. Have you ever experienced snow in real life before?

I watched quite a few Hallmark Christmas movies. They're predictable but full of Christmas spirit.
Glad youvwere able to take a few days to rest and relax.

Have you heard of the new thing? Renting a tree? I found that interesting.
Nice to watch our favorite holiday movies. Glad you enjoyed them.
