Another book chapter is "in the can"!

I finished another chapter on my book today. As many of you know, it is about working as a child psychologist with difficult children from disadvantaged families in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sometimes I feel inspired, but sometimes I have "literary constipation" and can only write a paragraph or two on a given day. If I were as prolific in my book-writing as I am on MyLot, I would have written three books by now. I am working on two other chapters right now. Please wish me luck around getting them done.

Good luck, pony. Sometimes it isn't writing that's causing a problem. Sometimes it's thinking/worrying about something else that causes the problem.

@TheHorse I don't know... I'm not you... When I was writing poetry, other things, like bills or my wife driving me crazy, kept me from being productive... Until I took care of those things, I couldn't concentrate on writing. What's bothering you?

Have you read Tibetan Peach Pie? (It is the autobiography of the author Tom Robbins) he talks about writer's block and some of the many ways he found to remove it!

Get 'er done. That's my mantra. You've probably already seen Tom Hanks in Black Jeopardy (SNL). He kind of plays me. I'm not a MAGA person, but I still identify with his character.
