When the weather changes and we have a cold front move in, I often have extra body pains and muscle spasms. Like last night.
This morning we could not see out of our north facing windows. They were covered with ice crystals. The wind was very strong out of the north as well. Made it hard to open the door, but I had to. Angel wanted out.
Evidently she has a place she shelters when she is outside. She did come in around noon because we kept calling for her. She has not gone out since.
Tinker and Lady did not want to go out at all. Smart kitties.
When the weather changes they sleep. They like to be in whatever room I am in and they look so peaceful sleeping.
My sleep was so bad last night that I took two naps today. Now I am ready to go to bed.

@GardenGerty - Changing weather makes it worse and the humidity of the air is the main cause, this is a rheumatic headache. Today I feel better.

I managed to sleep right through the night last night, but feel like going back to bed... not that I'm tired, it just seems like that kind of day. It snowed overnight and it's -4°C out there.

So that would be close to 25 degrees F so still pretty darn cold. I slept a lot yesterday.

I took a nap saturday and I never do. I just didn't feel good still from my booster shot I had on Thursday. I woke up this morning (Sunday) to ice on the cars as well and it's trying to snow now too. I have to leave at 9:45 for work so hoping the roads aren't too bad.

It is very cold today, Sunday, but the sun is shining. I did not go to church. I slept a lot on Saturday because my muscles were so sore, for no real reason except the weather change. I hope the roads were good for you.

We only got a little snow, and with the sun shining it is melting. It is only 14 F. or -10C. More than cold enough for me.

We're at 15F heading down to -9F tonight with snow falling... The forecast says it will snow off and on for two days now. I'm glad we'll get back into the 40s for Tuesday and Wednesday...
I had trouble sleeping today. Something kept waking me up...

Wonder if the changing weather disturbs your sleep. You are a little colder than we are for night temps. Tuesday will be our warmest day this week. I go back to work Tuesday.

I hope school was fun yesterday and not too many kids missed for sickness... or that you didn't have to be around too many of them.

We use heat, but I try not to do too much. I always wear socks and shoes, and long pants or a dress and extra layers. Then drink hot drinks and eat spicy food.

Hubby has a toe that got frostbite when he was younger. He says it hurts when we are getting snow.

Usually the cold does not stay too long, so that is good. Bundle up and stay warm if you can.

It was mild and even summer like until last week, as in 70 degrees. I am in East Central Kansas.

Oh my, it doesn't sound like 2022 has been good to you at all so far between the weather and your body pains. I am so sorry. But your kitties sound very sweet, especially since they want to be with you.

We really can always expect the changing weather. I have medicine I can take, but if I used my head I would take some OTC meds before I get so sore.
