My Two-Year-Old Hairdo

Let me share how long my hair grown long for more than two years now. It is my way of rebelling myself against coronavirus. The mere fact, I am not match with this virus. Even my younger brother, he was influenced to have long hair. We can be headbangers when listening to rock music.

Thus, it serves as my new avatar here.

What genre of music do you listen to?

It seems I am also in a wavy hairstyle. It looks straight in this photo of mine. I assumed that most men in your country love having it.

@Shavkat I have no idea. It seemed like as soon as hair stylist stations were open again most men got haircuts, though. (I'm letting mine grow because a friend is having chemo treatments and wants my hair for a wig when it's long enough. I told her I'd let her have it.)

I cut my own hair, I do not care about the virus, I want to have a nice hairdo. I like music of the fifties and sixties and Classical music.

@Shavkat There are some opera aria (songs) that I like, but not all. I cut the hair of my husband since 1998.

You are like my son. He too didn't go to a barber for the past two years and his hair has reached his shoulder already. I think he likes what he has for now. I on the other hand got to have my hair cut at the first sight when barber shops started opening again.

@cacay1 Just before I left for my home province I decided to have my hair cut. But now we’re back from our vacation I think it will take some time before I will return back to barbershop since we are again surging in new cases so I guess I will avoid it first in the meantime.

At some point, it is something new for me. I am sure he might agree that it is tiring to always have short hair.

I used to envy my cousins who had this idea. I cannot do it before because my previous companies do not allow this.

I must say that I am a frustrated musician. When I was a child, I wanted to learn to play any musical instrument. But then, I prefer playing the piano. Sad to say, my parents did not allow me to do so.

I do agree that I do not need to think about having a haircut. It is just a temporary matter. If the pandemic is over, it is about time to cut it.
