Good morning from this side of the planet
. It's 10:30 AM here and it's a lovely beautiful morning here
. I am enjoying being lazy in the sun on my terrace. It feels heaven
.
I am off today and I would tell the reason in another post. This is my first post here in this new month and new year. Hope all going well in your mylot corner and the new year is treating you well
I want to be more regular here this year and I hope that I am able to manage my time well to do so. I hope to post more discussions here regularly. I have always wanted to post more but then...either the time doesn't allow or I end up reading and commenting or clearing notifications. I hope to make a balance.. reading, responding, notifications and posting. Well, life is all about balance in all aspects and I will try to get better with balancing in the new year..
Had a good walk and trekking today morning. It was a long one. It was almost 20 km. Husband and I went leaving our girls at home. They wanted to sleep late.
. And not venture out in cold morning.

Have you been getting the really cold temps this last week, Judy? I'd really love to share my 10F (-12C) temps with @arunima25... as well as the ice and snow we're getting right now. I think she'd love it.

@DaddyEvil It's a visual treat to see them. But I have stayed in Chicago and Longmont, Colorado. I have experienced it. They are fun and beautiful but then annoying and inconvenience in many ways.

I was very happy. You can feel the rush of happy hormones after a good exercise.
It does look like a ripe yummy fruit in the sky. I just fell in love with it.

It must be bone-chilling cold there. Take care and stay warm. We had almost no sun from August to November due to the rain and clouds. And it was depressing. Sun has been regular since December and we are happy about it. New year started gloomy with rain and clouds but I am glad that it didn't stay for more than two days.
I plan to be more regular and active. Let's see how it works. We can always drop in here when we can.

Today was our sunny day for this week. We're getting some sleet that's supposed to turn into snow tonight. Pretty and I stepped out onto our front porch for a minute today and retreated from the 29F (roughly -2C) outside. (We wanted to go get some Springfield style cashew chicken but we didn't want anything THAT badly... There are times I wish we had delivery services here.)

@DaddyEvil It is too bad you don’t have delivery services. It was sunny and very cold here today. I had a mani/pedi first, but ran around in flip flops to do my errands. People thought I was crazy

I was sun soaking in the terrace. I did finish few things like folding a load of laundry and peeling some green peas while sitting in the sun. We have got pleasant sun and I just don't want to miss enjoying it And after such long walk and trekking, one deserved some rest

For every discussion you post, you know you will get too many notifications... (I don't know anyone who would fill up your notifications, but I know it happens. 
)
I don't understand when people want to post more discussions. At times I have trouble keeping up with the notifications I get without posting a discussion first. 3 people like this

Yes, notifications can be overwhelming but then they are the ones that make us going here. I mean it would be no fun and no earnings without those notifications. Without interactions and earnings, the site will loose it's charm and motivation.
When I hope to post more, I put a goal of maximum 2_3 posts in a week. I guess that should be okay if I push myself a bit. Well, that is the plan and let's see how it works.

We used to go for such trekking once in a week but then pandemic had ruined that. And now we are again in mini lockdown.
Yes, I felt a decrease in activities here. Seems like many are busy with holidays. Now that it's over, I hope they will be back.

Beautiful picture indeed. 20 Kms is quite a good number.
Well, we have not been going out since many days due to Covid situation but more due to cold and rainy weather.
We had almost no sunshine since last three days.
May be we would get some sunshine today.

Yes as lack of Vitamin D can show up pain and inflammation within a few weeks.
But yes, we have to be confined mainly indoors for perhaps 1 or 2 weeks.

We have not done much of outdoor activities since the pandemic. And once again we are locked indoors. When we were regular with cycling, we would go around 35 kms on weekends. It's a beautiful trek that husband accidentally discovered and we enjoy it..
We were without any sun for almost three months. And from December, it has been sunny everyday except for few days ( starting new year's Eve ) when we had rain. Weather is pleasant again. And it's other way round there at your end. You won't get much sun during December and January. It should be better after Sankranti.
I am soaking myself in sun for hours these days. Vitamin D deficiency is very common in Bangalore as we don't get enough sun. I want to take my dose of Vitamin D for the year

@arunima25 Yes, you are absolutely right. I thought you edited the image so that the sun is round like a ball, and is red. This is the first time I've seen a unique sun image like this. You are very lucky to see it.
