MyLot shouldn't be considered as a source of income. It's just pocket money.
Earnings take time to accumulate and it takes a lot of work to earn ten dollars a month.
You get earnings when other members like or respond or comment to your discussions, responses or comments.
Likes contribute toward your earnings.
You post on someone elses discussion, response or comment, they get paid.
Others post on yours and you get paid.
The best way to earn is to enter into discussions and banter or small talk with other members. The more you post, the greater the opportunity for earnings.

I don't have the ambition to attempt 40 bucks a month.
I was earning 10 bucks a month and it seemed like a lot of work for so little.
I made the single goal I had when I came back. Now I'm happy with 5 bucks a month.

You are not going to make a lot of money in myLot, if you really need to earn you should find a site that pays to write.
Here we do not earn for what we do, but only if the others interact with us, or leave comments to our posts.
The amount is adjusted every hour, you cannot see "immediately" the earnings.

If you read the mylot FAQ you’ll find the answers is $5 or more a month it goes out on or near the 15th of every month.

@Naughty22 welcome it’s pretty easy but not the best way to have an income there are other things but this does help to give you some monthly.

Welcome, I see others have gave the link to the guidelines, first read that to make sure you stay within the guidelines. Then stay active, make post of your own and interact with others post too. That is the basic way to earn anything here. Once you have earned enough to make payout on the 15th of the following month you will be paid out.

You won't earn much here. I've been on here a couple of years and have earned around $17 in total so far. It takes a long time to accumulate $5. I do admit though that I did have a period where I wasn't posting. The way to get better earnings is to be posting and commenting very often. I'm going to try and be on here a lot more and see if I can get my $5 every month

@Naughty22 Gosh! I think it was a year! Don't let that put you off. Like I said, there was a period where I wasn't posting. If you try and post every day and be active then hopefully it will take you less than that. But I understand that a lot of people won't have time to be on here as much as I will be, because they have work and stuff to do.

If you need a source of income this isn't the place. This is the place to have fun interacting with people around the world and as a bonus earning some pocket money.
Whatever you do on this site (write a discussion, post a reply or comment, etc.) doesn't earn you anything. It's only when others respond back to you that you potentially earn. If you get likes or views that earns you as well from what I hear. However, if you are not active here then you are less likely to get much interaction back and earn anything.
The minimum to get paid here is $5. That amounts to only 16-17 cents a day if you want to reach payout when the month is over. Of course February has less days so the daily amount will be slightly different. You earn at least that much every day and you are good. Of course, if one day you earn way more than the daily minimum then it's okay if another day you don't. You will still be on track.

What I have learned is that it's good to have conversations with people in the comments of a post, not just comment on a post. It's fun also because you can comment on someone else's comment and ask the responder a question and it just keeps going from there. Welcome to myLot.
