Disappointed!

Hi myLot friends. Happy New Year! It’s been months that I was not able come here and be updated with your posts. Holiday is over and I hope that you all do well where ever you are. The threat of Covid19 under Omicron variant is once again here in my country. The number of positive cases also just few days after the New Year’s Day rose considerably. Got my first shot on the 11th of December after long months of hesitations of getting the vaccine. Good that I did not have any unpleasant effects after. Today, it’s suppose to be my second shot but unfortunately when I arrived at the vaccination site, the people there told me that the Moderna vaccine is not available. That’s disappointing. They should have managed it properly and expect the number of people to be vaccinated comes the day and never be run out of supply. Our local chief executive in the city is quick to issue EO regulations in line with this Covid thing. They even imposed strict rules for the people who will refuse and remained to be unvaccinated but their poor management showed up during this time when they reason out that no supply for specific vaccine for today. I can’t understand because base on their record a month before, they must have calculated the number of returning people on their given schedule. Sigh!

Happy New Year! I've been wondering if you were okay since you haven't been around. It's good to see you back. I'm sorry they didn't have enough vaccine to give you your second dose. Hopefully they will soon.

Thanks. I'm OK and trying to be OK. I tried to inquire with my friend nurse who's working at the health department handling this matter and according to her that maybe next week, it would be available.

Good thing that you decided finally to have vaccinated. It will add protection to you although it is not 100% sure that you won't get infected just protection of not getting the worst that this virus can do to you.

@ZedSmart hopefully you could finish your second dose soon. I am supposed to be given a booster shot today but my son got symptoms so I decided to stay home instead.

@rsa101 The cases for the entire Philippines every day is very alarming and I think sooner, LGU's would implement stricter measures again. I hope your son is OK.

Yes. During the first shot I still second thought but when I'm at the vax site I decided not to back out and finally got it

Today is my schedule and since it's not available and the people there were not sure when the vaccine to be readily available, they asked me to leave my identity and contact number if in case if it's ready by next week they can notify me.

Welcome back, I noticed that you were not around for a long time. I am sorry about the vaccine, the disorganization reigns in almost all countries.

Thanks Ms. Anna. I'm quite busy with my other engagement and I think the effect of the pandemic has also affected me that much, physically and emotionally.

@LadyDuck That's true. It's hard but I'm still trying my best to see the other side of the situation and remained hopeful. Being alive at this moment is a a lot to be thankful though.

Thanks Ms. Judy. I was informed thru text message the other day and have myself vaccinated on the same day. I'm fully vaccinated as of now and after 3 months, the booster shot perhaps.

That can be quite annoying, I hope you were able to get the vaccine by now.

That's right because we should set aside other commitments because of the vaccination. Thanks.
