Yay, just got another focus group / myLot

So, I looove focus groups whether they are online or in person. Super easy way to make money and they can be fun and interesting as well. I was disappointed last week that I missed a group chat which would have been worth some money. In person focus groups are better though, as you will earn anywhere from 100 to 300 for your participation. In the fall I went to one, which was a mock trial, that was about a 6 hour affair and paid 300. Have you ever participated in these groups?

The real thing would be finding those that would work in your country. Nairobi is a big city though, I bet you can find some companies doing them right in your city, if you look hard enough.

They are people trying to gather ideas, as to how a jury will vote as in mock trial. Other times they are trying to market a product and want to see how consumers will respond to various marketing concepts. Sometimes they are political, and how people respond to different candidates.

They were very busy on Tuesday, but has been slower this week. I did two today. One should be up there now, but it is a little one. In a city like Denver there should be some that would suit Ocean, you should check it out.

No, I didn't know what focus groups were until I read your reply to @Kandae11

Sounds like group surveys. I don't think I have those anywhere close. I might look for online opportunities but I already have a hard time finding "normal" surveys I qualify for on earning sites, I'm not too hopeful.

Kind of, but they generally pay much more. These are professional marketing agencies that put these on for the most part, or they could be attorneys. it depends on the kind you do.

@sabtraversa You each, the big thing is just to get into their database. Some companies send their studies out to everybody, and others are looking for specific qualifications.

I found a company that may provide this kind of service to businesses in my country, I don't know for sure if they'll contact me for such a gig, but I'm trying.
