How to fight against Covid

I was just reading an article about Covid and how to avoid getting it and it seems I have figured it all out now. I know why I am not getting it. Amazing how simple it is, you all should be doing this. All you have to do is use Listerine twice a day as directed and take Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Zinc. Doing this and you avoid getting Covid. I mean this is awesome you can get all this at a local grocery store. I been doing this for years and didn’t even know I was protecting myself. I take a multi-vitamin every day that has all this in it and more so I must be immune to everything. Here all you people out there getting vaccines and tested and wearing masks all the time and this is all you had to do. Alright waiting on the hate replies cause those of you that are all freaked out by Covid won't read far enough to get to this where I say I don’t know that any of that is true but they are doing research into it but there are already people out there spouting this as truth. I’m sure it can’t hurt to do these things, at least you will have fresh breath but not sure you would be protecting yourself or anyone else from getting covid. I just found it interesting that they are even researching something like this. I’m not doctor or scientist, but I don’t see how this would help.

I swear by Zicam (zinc) and vitamin C. Of course, I'm also pretty anti-social, so I have that going for me.

@Bensen32 — having said that, I am fully vaccinated, too. I have risk factors (chronic asthma), so I have to be very careful.

@FourWalls Yeah, everyone has their thoughts on it and I mean if people feel safe to do so then I say go ahead get the vax or wear the mask, it aint hurting me what others do.

My doctor has had me taking Vitamin C and D for several years. (I'm allergic to Zinc in tablet form. The doctor said I get enough in the veggies I eat.) I was reading an article a few days ago and commented that now idiots will be overdosing themselves and their families because idiot reporters put stuff like this out without waiting for verification.

I imagine it helps but don't actually keep you from getting it

@averygirl72 Oh, they do have Listerine products in the Philippines. I'm not sure if it is widely sold but they do sell it there somewhere. :)

Just make sure you are using it as directed and of course not sure it actually helps or not. It's just another one of those things people are saying. but at least this one shouldn't hurt anyone who actually uses it as directed on the product labels.

Taking vitamins probably would help but I can’t see Listerine doing anything to prevent covid. All the vitamins might make our immune system stronger.

@Bensen32 I’d trust hot salty water before listerine

Yeah, not even going to waste my time reading it but thank. Kind of guessed it is not going to work but I'm sure there will be people out there buying it in bulk thinking it is somehow going to help.

A lot of research is going on and nothing can be said with surety about the mysterious virus. But it is a known scientific fact that good immunity helps you fight the infection better. And vitamins are needed for good immunity. So, the multivitamins must be helping you
