January 17 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a good day.
I'm thankful I got to the pool this morning. I considered not going, but went and enjoyed the pool. I didn't go to the fitness center. I'm feeling really sore this morning.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. I got a couple of hours and felt good after the workout I got in the pool.
I'm thankful for honesty. A friend from church called this morning and told me he tested positive for COVID. I won't be going to the pool the rest of the week. It might be why I feel like I got kicked by a mule.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished. It's great visiting with you.
Okay, that's my day. I'm going to finish off the few notifications and then watch TV. No more computer today. Maybe tomorrow I'll work on a book, or maybe later. We'll see.

I hope your friend doesn't have any severe complications from that positive Covid test. I certainly hope you're okay.
We had a storm and it knocked out my cable so I had no internet access, tv etc but I'm thankful that I still had heat and electric. Actually had to dig out an old radio so I could listen to some music. Relying on my Alexa for music only works when the internet does.

I saw pictures from the storm. It was bad. I'm sorry it knocked out your Internet and TV. Radios are good standby's in bad weather.

Yesterday I was thankful that I had a little bit of work. I'm thankful that we have power. I'm thankful for the snow too. Today I'm thankful that I moved my computer into the den where it is warm.
