Today the maid came. And when I was about to pay her the laptop decided not to work. It was stuck for three hours.
Finally I paid the maid with cash although I save my cash for a rainy day. Hospital urgencies, taxis and so on come under that.
The maid worked a lot but she is not Leticia. Of course nobody in this world will be like her but I need help.
She cleaned many things and left uncleaned many others. I had to cook lunch for her and I wasn´t happy about it.
But she changed my bed (I had to do two loads of washing) and vaccuumed the rug.
Finally, a long time after she went away, the laptop decided to work. It might have heard me when I said that I would throw it away and buy another one.
I´ll check your posts, friends.

She left prior to the covid because she was ill. Many things have happened now and she lives 2 hours away from my house. It is not easy for her to come.

@Kandae11 She is better. But she is elderly and cannot come to work here as her house is 2 hours from mine by bus.

Glad you had the cash for the maid but too bad she does not do a thorough job, Also glad to hear your laptop is working again, When mine acts up but is working I usually have to restart it to get it just rgith,

The screen of my laptop was a dark blue. I could not restart it. And I cannot say anything about the maid yet. She has to learn her way around the house.

I´m not happy the new technology won. I have lost a lot of priceless material in digital pictures or when software changes.
