The rain has been falling about an hour now. Maybe sleet later, but not cold enough for more snow.
Baked a loaf of homemade banana nut bread. Had a few bananas on the counter I needed to get rid of.
Always enjoy this bread. It goes well with hot tea. This just might be dinner.
Enjoying the sound of the rain falling. Very relaxing.
Photo is mine.

It can be made in Oven but
For Veg: You need Baking soda or Baking powder
For egg: Well, you can make with eggs.
And the best part is that even slightly rotten bananas can be used in this.
But yes, Oil and / or Butter consumption would be high.

I like banana bread but not with nuts in it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@CarolDM I love pecans and cashews, but not in cooked food. I buy the large bags of them and eat them as a snack.
I'm making breakfast if you haven't eaten yet... You'd be welcome to come over and have some with me. (Sausage, scrambled eggs and toast.)

@DaddyEvil They are a good healthy snack. I buy the unsalted ones. I will be right over.

Looks quite delicious. A tea with such a dish is calming on a cold day.
Unexpectedly, out our hot air blower which was recently repaired got an issue again and I had to drop it off at the Electrical shop.
It is hard managing without it in extreme cold for us.
Its close to a max of 16 and min around 5 C, but quite cold for us.
Hoping to get that in a good condition by tomorrow Friday 21st.
