Do you think that jeans are only suitable or only suitable for use by young people?
Where I am now, people's lives have become more modern, more fashionable. Old and young people a like wear jeans.
Is your place the same as in my city too?
I really like wearing jeans when walking casually, or traveling long distances. How about you? Do you still often wear jeans? or clothes made of jeans?

Yes, you are absolutely right. If in your place, people, both young and old, are used to wearing jeans. Because I really think these jeans come from America or other western countries. So in my place, most of the people who wear these jeans are young people. When they are old, they usually only use trousers made of cloth or use skirts that are not made of jeans.

I have never understood being ashamed of your age. I am just glad to be here and functioning well. Old to me is a state of mind.

If I leave the house, I'm wearing jeans... either jean shorts or jean pants. Jeans are for everyone.

@sinari Some older people here wear slacks instead of jeans.... I'll never get old enough to just wear slacks.

Well, that's the difference in your country with mine. Maybe because these jeans come from America, both young people and grandparents are used to wearing these jeans.
But in my country most of the people who wear these jeans are young people. So the jeans in my place are synonymous with youth clothing styles. So that people who are old in our place are less comfortable when using these jeans. because they think these jeans are suitable for young people to wear. So different from the custom in your place. Because this leather comes from your country, so where do you get used to people wearing jeans, both young and old.

I used to wear jeans when I was younger but I never really liked them. I found them too stiff and restricting. I don't wear them any more.

@sinari Yes, it is mainly young people who wear jeans. What me and my Mum don't get is when they wear them with holes in the knees as a fashion statement!

@sharonelton Hahahaha..if my grandmother saw a young child wearing jeans with a torn knee, then my grandmother said that the youth's jeans had to be sewn first because they had holes or tears.

You're still young. What I mean is that old people (grandparents) in my country rarely wear jeans. Because in my country the people who use jeans a lot are people who are 50 years old and under.
When they are grandparents, their style of dress is different from the style of dress of young people.

Traditionally jeans were workwear, because they were tough and hard-wearing. So in that sense anyone can wear them.
On the other hand if they want to look good in them - well that's a different question! Only selected people should wear them!

Yes, I've heard that these jeans come from America, so that's why people in your country are used to wearing them. Both the old and the grandparents.
And in my country no one forbids to wear jeans. We really love wearing jeans. But indeed, most of those who use these jeans are young people, aged 50 years and under. But when it's grandparents, usually they mostly wear trousers made of cloth or non-jeans. And those who are already grandmothers mostly use overalls, tops and long skirts. That's the culture of dressing grandparents in my country.
In my country, no one forbids the grandparents from wearing jeans, but they are not comfortable wearing jeans, because the majority of people who wear jeans where I live are young. So the grandparents feel less confident or uncomfortable wearing jeans. So indeed the culture of dressing in each country is certainly different.

Yes, I believe that. Because indeed in America, your country or other western countries, people have always been used to wearing jeans, both young and old. My grandparents' dress style is different from that of young people. Incidentally, those who often wear jeans at my place are young people. Age 50 and under.

I am no longer young and I don't plan on ever, ever giving up my jeans. My friends all wear jeans most of the time. They're comfortable, long lasting, and I love them. However, I truly hate the torn jeans fad, and I hope it ends soon. I like mine in one piece, but then I am just weird like that.

The main thing is that the pertinent parts are covered. The rest is personal preference.

Yes, maybe because these jeans come from your country or from other western countries, the people are young or old, including those of you who are used to wearing jeans.
But in my country, jeans are mostly worn by young people, or middle-aged people. But for grandparents, they mostly use non-jeans. However, the grandmother more often uses overalls or blouses and skirts that are not made of jeans. So my culture is different from yours.

Yes, maybe in western countries people are used to wearing jeans. Both the young and the old. But I think every country has its culture or habits from the lifestyle of its people. Incidentally, Indonesia is a bit different. Those who wear jeans are mostly young people. Old people like grandparents rarely wear jeans anymore.

I like jeans too. Jeans matches everything. Today I went to the thrift store, looking for a vase. Found it, just .99. So tempted to look at their jeans, but couldn't, no time today.
