Do you wear glasses?

Although, I haven't seen the pics of all mylotters obviously, the ones I have seen, no one is wearing glasses? Do you wear glasses, and if so, do you like yours? I wear them, although I don't have them on all the time. I find on the computer that I would rather not use them. Also, I don''t wear them in the morning..until I really want to see something... My glasses are OK, wish the glass part was a bit smaller though. I don't like seeing my eyebrows in them. Maybe one of these days I will get Lasik.

I wear readers, but the top part is just regular glass. I wear frames that look like there is no frame across the bottom.

@Juliaacv I wish I had prescription sunglasses. When I am at the beach I have to wee them without having my glasses on so I can't see that well.

I have glass and here is a picture of me with them on. I actually can’t do anything without my glasses unless I have contacts. I’ve had glasses since I was a 11. My oldest has had glasses since she was 7 years old. My husband has had glass since about the same age as our oldest.

@snowy22315 it’s hard to see what they actually look like since the lighting in this picture is purple. They are black and purple and have silver stones on the side. This year I’m going with contacts I’ve gone 2 years with glasses when I’m dance it’s a pain trying to keep them on my face.

I only wear glasses to read, mainly in the evening when I read a book before sleeping. I like my glasses, simple, light, they serve the purpose.

Dee, I don't need glasses for that. I generally read on the kindle which has backlighting though. I think that helps.

@snowy22315 - My eyes are dry and I always stop staring at a screen around 6 pm if I do not want to have dry and painful eyes all the night long. I can read without glasses if there is enough light. When I read in bed there is a very dim light.

I wear glasses. I liked mine when I bought them but not as much now. When I see my eye doctor I’m thinking of getting some I like better.

This is the second pair of these I have had, my first pair broke, but they were still under warranty so I was able to get them replaced with no issue.

@snowy22315 I’ve worn glasses for years. My last ones I stepped on and broke. I was reading in bed and laid then down under the edge of the bed. And of course stepped on them when I got out of bed. I’ll never do that again.

I have been wearing glasses during my waking hours since I was 9 yo. If I don't wear them, I cannot even make out people's faces who are only a few feet away.

Pretty and I both just got new glasses right before Christmas and yes, I like this pair. My last pair was chosen for me by the optician and I still think they're too wide for my face. (The optician didn't give me a choice.) I only need my glasses for driving. Before Covid, I preferred wearing my contacts if we were going out for dinner or somewhere else.)

@snowy22315 The lenses on my old ones went out past the corner of my eyes by a good half inch on each side. The new glasses are rectangular and the lenses are just barely larger than my eyes.

Yes, I wear glasses. I've worn them since I was 8 and I told the teacher I couldn't see the board. I wish I didn't have to wear glasses. When I was at senior school I used to get teased and called names because I wore glasses.

Growing up I used to, but my vision got to the point where it does nothing for me. My right eye is useless, and well, after a while I never noticed the difference with the good eye. So I stopped.
