Welcome to February! That means we’re in the Valentine month. That also means we’re close to the top ten favorite “kiss” songs. Meanwhile, there are a few more to do alphabetically. Here’s one that a few people had pegged to show up on the list. Good going, y’all. Sealed With a Kiss - Brian Hyland Brian Hyland spent all winter dreaming about that itsy bitsy, teeny weenie yellow polka-dot bikini….then they we apart all summer! Hyland’s first hit was the novelty-like song about the girl in the bikini. This isn’t anything like that song, is it! A lovely teen ballad (which fit: Hyland was all of 18 when this song was a hit) that has really stood the test of time. It’s been covered by Gary Lewis and the Playboys and Bobby Vinson, and even Hyland’s version was a cover (the original was by the Four Voices). And it’s a keeper.
