Raindrops Are Falling Today

Rain started here late yesterday evening. Lasted through the night. And still raining. Suppose to rain all day and night. And tomorrow as well. After it ends tomorrow we will have a sleet/wintery mix. I enjoy the raindrops falling. I heard it most of the night. And the temperatures have been mild. That will change tomorrow of course. Roller coaster weather continues into February here. Tis the season I suppose.

As you know, it's s**wing here. Will have to have the drive plowed and the walk shoveled so that Meals on Wheels can come back tomorrow.

We're supposed to hit the 70s(F) Thursday and Friday, with rain Friday. Then temps drop back into the 40s(F) for the weekend.

Our thermometer was up to 30 degreesF this morning. From last week, -12. Up one week, down the next! Sleet/snow is never a good forecast, roads are obviously dangerous!

Although we will get some rain here, and perhaps sleet. The bulk of that storm is going to the west, so we will get very little of this...I am glad. The weekend looks great for a change.

We had a 60F day yesterday until in the evening when it started to rain. Then the temp dropped fast to 29F and then slowly dropped all night. The rain changed to sleet and then back to rain. We ended up at 14F by morning and the rain had changed to snow. Everything is slowly turning white now. At least the temperature rose to a balmy 20F this afternoon. I hope you don't get too much of the wintery mix out of this storm.
